Bausch & Lomb Custom 10X40. 5.2 Degree Field. Made In Japan. Optics are free from fungus and notable scratches. The collimation is excellent. Many people selling binoculars don’t understand the importance of proper alignment between the left and right binocular barrels. Correct alignment will help you avoid double vision with the resultant eyestrain and headaches. Improper alignment will limit your viewing sessions to just a few minutes (or less) at a time. Only a few shops in this country still work on binoculars. With the cost starting at ~$100 for a basic alignment, it is cost prohibitive to repair most binoculars. The focus knob is firm, but travels through it’s full range of motion. When looking at stars directly overhead you won’t have to worry about the binocular shifting out of focus. The view through these binoculars is sharp, with excellent contrast. Colors are vibrant, not washed out looking. These binoculars provide an image that is among the best of the several hundred models I’ve owned through the years. Included are the binoculars, a strap, and a case, nothing else.
